How long does shipping take for EGGs and accessories?
Standard shipping typically takes 5-7 business days. Due to the weight and fragile nature of ceramic EGGs, large units are shipped via specialized freight carriers to ensure they arrive safely at your doorstep.
What is the warranty policy for my Big Green Egg?
Every Big Green Egg comes with a limited lifetime warranty on the ceramic components (dome, base, fire box, and fire ring) to the original purchaser. Metal parts and wooden components are covered for 5 years and 1 year respectively.
Can I use regular charcoal in my Big Green Egg?
We strongly recommend using only 100% Natural Lump Charcoal. Chemical-laden briquettes or lighter fluids can be absorbed by the porous ceramic, affecting the flavor of your food and potentially damaging the EGG.
What is your return policy?
Unused and unopened accessories can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Due to safety and weight constraints, Big Green Egg units themselves are subject to a specialized return process and may incur a restocking fee.
How do I clean my Big Green Egg?
Cleaning is simple. The exterior can be wiped with a damp cloth when cool. For the interior, a 'clean burn' (heating the EGG to a high temperature for a short period) will burn off food residue, and the ash can be easily removed through the patented stainless steel draft door.
